If the mobile video call is made through the internet, the signal problem of video call is avoided to some extent.
The integrated call of mobile phone, TV and computer
The mobile phone is likely to be connected with TV and computer in the future. On the just completed Singerpore Communic Asia 2010, the CEO of Skype – Josh Silverman said, "the communication will go on everywher. With the software supporting, any computing device can be a communication device and you can make communications anywhere."
He also introduced that Skype had built partnership with some world leading electronic manufactuers. And the Skype software is preassembled in the electronic products. The Skype can provide the users with free internet video and audio call through the desktop and notebook. People can even make video calls with the HD TV in the bedroom.
By the end of next year, eight world leading PC manufacturers will preassemble the Skype software. At present, only Nokia N900 and iPhone can make video calls through the Skype software. It's said that Skype will launch more platforms.
The video call makes the face to face communication between the people in different places. It will be greatly favored by the young separate lovers. You can also communicate with your parents if you are far from home. The video customer service is also realized in many service industries.
The video call can also be a tool of video meeting in some enterprises. Not only the two people video call can be achieved, the long distance video conference can also be realized through the enterprise OA system. In the beginning of this year, it's reported that multiuser video call business is realized in Canada. However, the application is not widely used.
